Prof. (Dr.) G.S. Bajpai addressed the Vice-Chancellor’s Conclave 2.0 at NLU Jodhpur (August 17, 2026)

Prof. (Dr.) G.S. Bajpai was invited as a Panelist at the Vice-Chancellor’s Conclave 2.0, organized by National Law University, Jodhpur, from 16–18 August 2026, on the theme “Legal Technology and its Roadmap: Positioning Law as a Leader in Legal Technology.” The Conclave was inaugurated by Hon’ble Mr. Justice Surya Kant, Chief Justice of India, and was graced by the presence of several Hon’ble Judges of the Supreme Court of India. The event also commemorated the 25th anniversary of the establishment of NLU Jodhpur.

In the technical session titled “Pedagogy, AI and Academic Integrity: Possibilities and Pitfalls,” held on 17 August 2026, Prof. G.S. Bajpai shared his insights on the transformative role of Artificial Intelligence in legal education and pedagogy. He highlighted the opportunities presented by AI in enhancing teaching, learning, legal research and academic engagement, while also drawing attention to the emerging challenges concerning academic integrity, originality, responsible use of technology and ethical standards in legal education.

The session brought together distinguished academicians and legal education leaders to deliberate upon the evolving relationship between technology, pedagogy and academic integrity. Other dignitaries on the dais included Prof. Dilip Ukey, Vice Chancellor, Maharashtra National Law University, Mumbai, and Prof. S. Shantakumar, Director, Gujarat National Law University, Gandhinagar.
