NAAC ‘A’ Grade Accreditation

Significantly contributed to the attainment of ‘A’ grade with a score of 3.59 on a 4-point scale by NAAC in 2016, reflecting excellent academic facilities for teaching and research.

Category 1 University Status

Under his administration, NLU Delhi achieved the status of ‘Category 1 University’ under UGC’s Categorisation of Universities for Grant of Graded Autonomy Regulations, 2018.

The University secured the Second Rank in the Law Institutions Category in India Rankings 2018 of the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) released by MHRD.

e-PG Pathshala – Digital Legal Education

Spearheaded ‘Digital Initiatives’ through the e-PG Pathshala Projects in Law and Criminology, significantly expanding the reach of and access to legal education across India.

MOOCs – Pioneering Online Law Education

Administered Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs) in nine law subjects — first ever by any Law School in India — catering to online education for more than 10,000 students.
